A brazilwood double bass bow constructed in the French style.
The “French-style” overhand bow is constructed along the same lines as the bow used with the other instruments of the orchestral string family. The stick is grasped from opposite the frog, with a similar overhand grip as other string instruments.
Made from quality Brazilwood which has excellent acoustic properties, the FPS Brazilwood Double Bass Bow has an octagonal stick profile, Ebony, pearl slide, full mounted frog, three part button inlay, silver plated winding and Mongolian horsehair – all of which come in a great affordable package. Available in fractional sizes.
