SEARING SOUND AND GROWLING GAIN
The 5150® Iconic® Series 40W 1X12 Combo delivers the culmination of Eddie’s life-long chase for the holy grail of tone—searing sound and growling gain—at an affordable price.
Two channels combine to deliver pure tube power that can deliver across any genre. The Green channel boasts an overdrive button to run from lush clean tones to increased gain, while the Red channel’s burn button adds fiery crunch for blistering leads.
TAKE COMMAND
Tone for days is yours for the taking with a comprehensive control layout. Independently dial-in volume and gain for Ch. 1 and 2 for level matching. Ch. 2 features a noise gate control to suppress any hiss while ensuring all staccato riffing is articulate and crisp, not choked and choppy. Shared EQ controls allow you to adjust Low, Mid and High. A global presence knob creates full control over ultra-high frequencies, while the global resonance knob adjusts the power amp’s low frequency response. The Boost control allows you to add another 10Db of foot-switchable volume to your tone.
PURE TUBE POWER
Two ECC83 preamp tubes erupt with mega overdriven tone when pushed to the max, while two 6L6 power tubes up the ante with plenty of saturated, high-gain attitude synonymous with Van Halen. A single 12” custom-designed EVH® Celestion® speaker has been voiced specifically for this preamp circuit, so that the pristine cleans and searing high gain tones are tight, clear and articulate.

BEHIND THE SCENES
This amp also features a 2-button footswitch that allows you to quickly toggle between the channels or engage the boost button. A speaker-emulated DI XLR (line out is located on rear panel) with power amp mute allows for accurate all-tube EVH tone for recording direct or using through any PA system.
5150® ICONIC® SERIES 40W 1X12 COMBO
The EVH® 5150® Iconic® Series satisfies the needs of gigging and recording guitarists craving that powerful EVH tube tone, but at a more affordable price. Evolving from the revered EVH 5150III® amplifiers, the Iconic Series delivers the searing sound and growling gain that Eddie Van Halen made famous throughout his groundbreaking career. Designed by renowned amp engineer, James Brown, the 5150® Iconic® Series 40-watt 1x12 combo is powered by two 6L6 power tubes and voiced by a complex, multi-stage hybrid preamp section anchored by a duet of ECC83 tubes providing all the fire power the modern guitarist needs. The cabinet is constructed out of MDF with special internal plywood baffling for tight and increased bass response, and houses a custom designed EVH 12” Celestion® speaker voiced specifically for this preamp circuit, so that the pristine cleans and searing high gain tones are tight, clear and articulate. Punching above its weight, this combo features two channels with an extra voicing on each for even more versatility. The Green channel boasts an overdrive button to run from clean tones to increased gain, while the Red channel’s burn button adds fiery crunch that’s ideal for blistering leads.
Each channel houses its own gain and volume controls, allowing for level-matching the volume when switching between the clean and high gain channels. The channel two noise gate’s quick attack suppresses any hiss while ensuring all staccato riffing is articulate and crisp, not choked and choppy. The Boost control allows you to add another 10Db of foot-switchable volume to your tone — perfect for ensuring your solos cut through the mix. The control panel also includes shared EQ (Low, Mid and High), global resonance and presence knobs to adjust the low- and high-end aspects of your tone, and a global reverb control to add the perfect amount of bounce and decay for any room.
Other features include a two-button footswitch, effects loop, dual parallel speaker output jacks, ¼ power switch to reduce wattage—allowing you to crank the amp and still preserve tone but without destroying your neighbor's solitude, and a speaker-emulated DI XLR with power amp mute for accurate all-tube EVH tone for recording direct or using through any PA system.
Sporting sophisticated and distinctive EVH style, the 5150 Iconic Series 40-watt 1x12 combo is wrapped in either Black or Ivory textured vinyl with a black cloth front grille and features silver and black 5150 and EVH logo badges in the upper left and lower right corners. This all-tube combo is finished off with a brushed aluminum top panel, vintage-style chicken-head knobs and molded black plastic top handle. A high-quality fitted cover is available as an EVH Accessory.

Logans Pianos offers Australia wide shipping on all products on our website and our Burwood store. The vast majority of our orders are eligible for free, or $8.95 flat rate shipping. For more details, see below.

Delivery Options
Logans are pleased to offer a variety of delivery options to our customers so you can choose the shipping method that best suits your needs.
In most cases, you will receive your order in 2-5 business days from the time of your order, but we ask that you allow up to 14 days for delivery, to account for unexpected delays.
Free & Flat Rate Shipping
Most orders over $199 qualify for free shipping.
orders under $199 are eligible for $8.95 flat rate shipping To NSW, VIC and ACT, or $15 flat rate shipping to all other Australian states.
Small products such as books, strings and small accessories may be sent with Australia post, and may not include a tracking number. If tracking is important to you, please choose courier shipping to ensure you will be able to track your order.
We have send tens of thousands of books and accessories in this manner, and very rarely have issues. If your product arrives damaged, or has not arrived within 14 days, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will replace it free of charge.
Acoustic Pianos, Digital Pianos with a shipping weight of over 80kg, and other products that require specialist delivery services or installation are not eligible for free or flat rate shipping.
Orders to Western Australia do not qualify for free shipping.
In Store Pickup
Most products can be picked up from our Burwood store. If you choose this option at checkout, please wait for us to confirm your products are ready for pickup before pick it up.
We are able to arrange curbside pickup/click and collect on customer request.

Generally, we recommend you use flat rate shipping in these cases, but if this is not appropriate, or available for you, please contact us, and we will discuss your options with you.
Digital Pianos Delivery & Setup
Digital Piano delivery and setup is available in the Sydney Metro area for the cost of $150. Surcharge will apply for stairs, or other difficult delivery.
Additional surcharges apply to deliveries outside of the Sydney Metro area, and will need to be scheduled in advance. Please contact us for an obligation free quote.
As you will have to be home to show the carriers where to set up your piano, we will call to schedule your delivery at a time that is convenient for you.
Acoustic Pianos Delivery
Logans only work with the best speciality piano carriers in the business - Dragon, Goninans & Perfect Moves. This ensures that your piano will arrive not only undamaged, but in tune & well regulated as well. As you will have to be home to show the carriers where to place your piano, we will call to schedule your delivery at a time that is convenient for you.
- Delivery to Sydney metro area is free to ground level, +$50 for each flight of stairs.
- Charges apply to deliveries outside of the Sydney Metro area, and will need to be scheduled in advance. Delivery of pianos outside of Sydney Metro is subject to the scheduling of our long distance shipping partner, Perfect Moves. Out of stock or new release products will generally be available for pre-order. If you pre-order a product online, we will contact you using the details provided your order to give you an ETA the next business day. For most products, this will add less than a week to the delivery time for your order.
In the case of new release products, or some specialty items, lead times can be up to six months. If you would like to know the ETA of a product before pre-ordering, please contact us by email, phone, or using the chat widget and we will give you an ETA.
